Archiving Policy
The Journal of Tourism Marketing, Governance, and Sustainability is committed to providing long-term digital preservation of its content. To ensure the availability and accessibility of our published articles, we adhere to the following archiving policies:
Our journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which creates a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. This system ensures that our content is preserved and available to the public even in the event of a catastrophic failure or disappearance of the journal.
In addition to LOCKSS, our journal is also indexed in several major databases and repositories, including SCOPUS, which provides an additional layer of preservation and accessibility. Our content is also archived by the Bentala Institute, the publisher of the journal, to ensure its long-term availability.
Our archiving policies are in compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. We are committed to maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our published content, and we strive to adhere to the highest standards of academic publishing.
