The Journal of Islamic Education, Knowledge, and Institutional Dynamics is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to its guidelines in maintaining the integrity of the academic record.

The journal's publication ethics includes, but is not limited to, the following principles:

  • Accountability: The journal's editor-in-chief is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The editor-in-chief may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
  • Fairness: The editor-in-chief evaluates manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
  • Confidentiality: The editor-in-chief and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.

The journal uses a double-blind review process, where both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from each other. This process is used to ensure the integrity and quality of the published articles.

Plagiarism Policy: The journal checks for plagiarism using a plagiarism detection tool. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism will be rejected.

Licensing: The journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). This license allows users to copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt the work in any medium, as long as the original work is properly cited.

Author Responsibilities: Authors are responsible for the content of their articles and must ensure that their work is original and does not infringe on the rights of others. Authors must also ensure that their work is free from errors and that any errors found after publication are corrected promptly.
