Publication Ethics
The Journal of Education Administration and Policy Studies is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical behavior in the publication of research. The journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows its guidelines in dealing with cases of suspected misconduct.
The journal uses a double-blind review process, where both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This process ensures that the review of manuscripts is fair, unbiased, and based solely on the quality and validity of the research.
The journal requires that all authors disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived as influencing their research. Authors must also declare any sources of funding for their research.
The journal is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of authors and adheres to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). Under this license, authors retain the copyright to their work, but grant the journal the right to publish and distribute their work under the terms of the license.
The journal takes plagiarism and academic misconduct very seriously. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are checked for plagiarism using a plagiarism detection software. Any instances of plagiarism or academic misconduct will be investigated and may result in the rejection of the manuscript or other penalties.
The journal's ethics policy is based on the following principles:
- Authorship: The journal requires that all authors listed on a manuscript have made significant contributions to the research and have agreed to be listed as authors.
- Originality: The journal requires that all manuscripts submitted be original and not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
- Confidentiality: The journal requires that reviewers and editors maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone except the authors.
- Objectivity: The journal requires that reviewers and editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on their academic merit and not on personal or professional relationships with the authors.
The journal's publisher, Bentala Institute, is committed to supporting the journal's ethics policy and ensuring that the journal maintains the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
