Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Education Administration and Policy Studies, published by the Bentala Institute, adheres to the highest standards of academic integrity and adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). As such, we take plagiarism very seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of academic dishonesty.
Plagiarism is defined as the act of using someone else's work, ideas, or words without proper citation, credit, or acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism. The journal uses a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and originality of all submissions.
To prevent plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Authors are expected to properly cite all sources used in their research, including publications, websites, and personal communications. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the manuscript, or in severe cases, retraction of the published article.
The journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY), which allows for the free use, sharing, and adaptation of published articles, provided the original work is properly cited. By submitting their work to the journal, authors agree to these terms and conditions.
The following guidelines outline our plagiarism policy:
