The Journal of Integrated Civic and Citizenship Education is published by the Bentala Institute, and adheres to the highest standards of academic publishing, as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our journal operates under a continuous publication model, with articles being published on a quarterly basis, in January, April, July, and October of each year.

Our publication frequency is designed to ensure that research is disseminated in a timely manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, to ensure that the research is rigorously evaluated and meets the standards of our journal.

Our journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY), which allows for the free distribution and reuse of published articles, provided that the original author and source are properly cited. We believe that this license is essential for promoting the dissemination of knowledge and advancing research in all fields.

Our publication schedule is as follows:

  • Article submission: ongoing, throughout the year
  • Peer review process: approximately 6-8 weeks
  • Article publication: quarterly, in January, April, July, and October
  • Indexing and archiving: articles are indexed in major databases, including SCOPUS, and archived in accordance with international standards
